Pick a stat. Rank the league. Score against reality.
Stat Rankings is the closest thing we have to a pure handicapping game. Each contest is built around a single stat category — passing yards, rushing TDs, sacks, receiving yards, you name it — and you submit a top-10 ranking of the players you think will lead the league that week.
It's the favorite of users who already grind player props and want a more skill-weighted contest format than slate-based DFS.
You pick from one of the open stat categories for that week. You then submit a ranked list of 10 players from the pool of eligible names. After the games complete, the actual top-10 is settled from official stats. You score 10 points for every player you got in the exact correct rank, 5 points for players one off, and 2 points for players two off. Players who land outside your top 10 entirely score nothing.
Weekly during the NFL regular season. Each week opens 4–6 stat categories. Cards lock at the first Sunday kickoff. Settles late Sunday night, with Monday Night stats folded in for affected categories.
You pick the passing-yards category for Week 8. Your top 5 reads: Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Hurts, Tagovailoa.
Actual top 5 settles: Mahomes (1), Allen (2), Burrow (3), Tagovailoa (4), Hurts (5). You nailed Mahomes exactly → 10 points. Burrow was 2 vs your 1 → off by 1, 5 points. Allen was 3 vs your 2 → off by 1, 5 points. Hurts and Tagovailoa flipped → off by 1, 5 + 5 points.
Your top 5 alone scored 30. Your bottom 5 added another 12. Contests typically pay top 25% of entrants with the steepest payouts at the top.
